Hurray, STRONGHOLD is funded!
Thank you for your quick support, which has enabled us to achieve our goal! Regardless of further progress, our game will be produced. Thanks to you again, we can realize our project and give you a game that (we hope) will bring you lots of fun experiences and joy.
Now we have the next goal ahead of us - illustrations in the Story Book, which we will implement when we unlock 20k. If you want to help us and make the game even better - let your friends who, like you, enjoy fantasy games know and send them a link to our campaign. Every additional axe in our clan is important!
By the way, we want to answer the question about additional language versions - both French and Polish will be available to choose from in the Pledge Manager after the campaign ends.
Together we march onwards!
With Dwarven Regards,
Pawel and Mat

Monsters and Standees (Part 1)

Friends!
Today we wanted to reveal some of the monsters that await you on the trail, and also show how they will look on the map along with an improvement that will help you track damage: mini-dice.
Mini-dice are one of the lower stretch goals that you will be able to unlock. This is something really worth fighting for during the campaign!
This time, the goblins you know from the previous part - thanks to the power of the cursed Storm - will be tougher opponents! Some of them attack in melee, while others shoot with bows, making them cunning opponents!
Thanks to the mini-dice for measuring enemy life, you will no longer need to note down life with a pencil. Just push the dice with your finger, measuring the damage your heroes inflict on enemies.
Monsters known from the first part end with goblins. Prepare for new threats. Beware of spore mutants! They are resilient enemies, attacking both in melee and with a cloud of poisonous gases. They can be encountered in dark and abandoned corners of the warped forest.
You're probably wondering why we marked the enemies with numbers? This allows you to easily determine who has initiative and the order of movement on the map.
Spiders! They may sometimes look unassuming, but thanks to their agility, they are difficult opponents. They bite and jump back, so you must be really clever to avoid exhausting yourself chasing them through the cobwebs!
All standees will be high-quality acrylic, easily mounted on plastic, transparent bases.
Fortunately, none of you are alone in this fight. By cooperating and supporting each other's abilities, you are able to defeat any opponent!
Get them, guys!
Let us know how you like the standees and damage-tracking dice?
Talk to you next week, and remember to follow us on:
Storm Weavers: Stronghold: Map and Trials

Brave Warriors, Wise Mages and Diligent Teknirs!
We're excited to tell you about two fun parts of Stronghold - exploring the world and using cards.
In Stronghold, you'll travel through mysterious places in Gaul: mountain passes, dark swamps, enchanted forests and forgotten tombs.
There will also be ancient, intriguing ruins!
You'll use a scratch-off map to find your way through these places, starting from your base - The Stronghold:
During the game, scratch off the newly discovered areas, revealing subsequent regions of Gaul.
In the places you visit, there are threats waiting for you that you will have to overcome with the help of cards. Each dwarf has special cards to use in Trials and combat. Each set represents a different sphere: Magic, Strength, and Cunning.
These cards are used both in combat, when their Actions and Reactions matter, and during Trials, when their level is important.
To check how cards are resolved in Trials, watch our video where we explain it:
Next week we'll show you more details about Combat!
You'll make some dwarves happy if you join our Kickstarter followers today:
This time we present you with a much bigger adventure that will provide you with even more fun during a campaign that's approximately 30 hours long, containing over 500 story sections and 20 unique combat encounters.
One of the most exciting changes is the new combat system based on tactics cards. You can use cards only, or in an alternative game mode add dice to the cards, which will give the gameplay more of an RPG-style risk feel.
Your adventure party now consists of three unique heroes, so you can Play solo, cooperatively with up to three players controlling the heroes, or add a fourth player who commands the monsters for an extra challenge.
Over the coming weeks, we will reveal more details about what we have prepared for you!
